Meet the Makers Behind The Curated Cottage

Hi friends! We wanted to take a moment to step out from behind the counter and introduce ourselves. We are Julie + Tara, the co-founders of The Curated Cottage, and we are so incredibly glad you’re here.

We built this space out of a shared love for things made with heart, intention, and a little bit of soul. While we bring different passions to the table, they blend together perfectly to create the magic of the cottage:

  • Meet Tara: If it involves pretty paper, tactile textures, or fresh ink, Tara is in her element. She has a deep love for stationery and the lost art of the handwritten note. For Tara, there is nothing quite like slowing down, putting pen to paper, and gifting someone an item chosen with true intention. Owner of modern meets vintage.

  • Meet Julie: Julie is the magic maker when it comes to transforming a space. She has a passion for plants, a gift for seeing the hidden beauty in vintage furniture, and a love for painting and repurposing. To Julie, it’s all about the details that turn a simple house into a warm, welcoming home. Owner of the planter + the painter.
